This annotated bibliography is a key step in my English 102 research project and brings together sources that address my question about how social media affects adolescents’ personal identity and interpersonal behavior in the United States. Each entry includes a summary of the source, an assessment of its reliability and relevance, and a reflection on how it will contribute to my paper. Through this assignment, I’m able to build a stronger understanding of my topic, evaluate the usefulness of each source, and recognize the difference between my own assumptions and what current research actually shows. This process also helps me identify areas that still need further investigation and shapes the direction of my final essay.
